Low Cost Nissan Micra Spied Again

Nissan launched the Micra Hatch back with great expectations. But the Micra hatchback couldn’t live upto the expectations of Nissan. Reasons for the unsuccessful run was high price tag and lack of Nissan dealerships. Now the number of dealerships have increased. To improve the sales figures Nissan is developing a Low cost Micra. We have already published the Low cost Micra spy pics. Now Nissan wants to launch the Low cost Micra as fast as they could because of the hot competition from rivals.

On the exterior there are no changes for the regular Micra except for the new color Aqua green. For reducing the price tag Nissan Localized the steering wheel system which was earlier imported. Nissan also reduced the NVH packages and also ditching the Airbag on the steering wheel which is a standard equipment in all variants will also help cost come down. We can expect only basic features like AC,power steering and power windows in the interiors. This will help Nissan to price the Low cost Micra aggressively.

With this move Nissan Micra is moving from the top of the Hot hatchback segment. Low cost Nissan Micra will compete against i10,Beat and Brio. Low cost Nissan Micra will be called Micra Active.Nissan will launch the facelift Micra which will occupy the current Micra position in the market.Can the downsizing strategy work for the Nissan Micra.

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Facelift Spied

Isuzu is a Japanese company which makes light to medium trucks,passenger cars and SUVs.There diesel engines are very famous.Isuzu is coming to India.India is very popular for SUVs.The SUV segment in India caught their eye.Isuzu is planning several models.One of the first Model coming to India is MU-7 SUV.Isuzu is not very new to India.They had many partnerships in India.Isuzu MU-7 has caught on testing by Autocar India.

From the one look you can certainly feel that MU-7 is a Bulky SUV.Similar to the ford endeavour and Force One SUV.Huge tyres and sheer length of the SUV will get noticed every where.MU-7 is based on the D-Max pick up truck chassis.One of the USP of MU-7 will be the interior space.You can certainly fit 7-8 passengers easily.Isuzu MU-7 is powered by 3.0 L diesel engine which makes 146 BHP of power and 294 NM of torque.Most of the Asian Market where MU-7 is available get this same engine.We can expect both 2WD and 4 WD model coming to India.

Isuzu is investing RS 1000 crore in India for building Manufacturing Plant.Plant has an annual capacity of 1,00,000 to 1,20,000.But the plant is expected to open in 2015.So Isuzu will assemble MU-7 in the Hindustan Motors plant in Chennai.We can expect the Isuzu MU-7 to launch in 2013.

Volkswagen Polo 1 2 L TSI GT Spied Inside and Outside

Volkswagen will launch the Polo 1.2 L TSI GT on April 25th in India. Thanks to the ALR Team we brings you the exclusive pictures of Polo 1.2 L TSI GT. On the outside Volkswagen Polo 1.2 L TSI GT looks similar to the Polo SR edition. Smoked head lamps,side skirts and rear spoiler which gives a sporty look for the Polo.
